We offer comfortable Edinburgh acomodation and extend a warm invitation for full bed and breakfast facilities in our much loved Victorian townhouse on a tree-lined, cobbled street, close to the heart of Edinburgh's New Town.

My wife Audrey and I are the seventh family in one hundred and forty years to own this beautiful Victorian property. The house was built by Edinburgh builder Alexander Henderson in 1863 and later sold to a doctor in the Indian Army.

Brodies Guest House is only a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh's Princes Street, Bus and Rail Stations and the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre or Edinburgh Botanic Gardens. The Royal Yacht Britannia is a 25 minute walk away.

With good restaurants and pubs close by, Brodies Guest House provides ideal Edinburgh acomodation and a convenient base from which to explore Edinburgh and many other parts of Scotland.

Although we are close to the centre of Edinburgh, the rooms facing on to our beautiful, stonewalled back garden allow guests to think you they are in the countryside as they wake in the morning to the sounds of birds singing.

Start the day at Brodies Guest House with a cooked Scottish breakfast. Choose from bacon, sausage, eggs, haggis, black pudding, kippers or porridge.

Vegetarian choices are always available.
